Troy Marks and No Idea is a New Orleans based band that has played full time since 1994 performing at weddings, casinos, fairs and festivals, conventions and fundraisers. Currently knowing over 400 songs that span the decades, their incredible versatility is one of the many strengths of the band.

Consisting of male and female vocalists, guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and saxophone , the band can also incorporate extra brass when necessary to round out the horn section. The band provides a very live, energetic and upbeat performance that will surely get everyone involved and dancing.

The founder and namesake of the band, Troy Marks, has been a vocalist and front man for over 30 years and has an extreme passion for entertaining. There is no one like him when it comes to whipping a crowd into a frenzy. He has a natural vocal range spanning B1-G5 in full voice and up to E6 in falsetto. He was also the owner of the Nola Wedding Guide magazine in New Orleans from 2009 - 2016 and has an incredible knowledge of the Nola wedding industry.

 

Troy Marks and No Idea has also been honored by being named the Knot's Best of Wedding Bands for 11 consecutive years. They also were elected to the Knot's Hall of Fame and are currently one of the only local bands to hold that honor.

The band comes with a self contained classy production with audio, stage lighting, backdrops, tv's and moving lights that can fit any area large or small.
